Welcome!

HI! I'm Tasha. I'm a stay home mommy, preachers wife, + author. Everyday I strive to make our home the happiest by keeping things sweetly simple, fun, organized, and did I mention FUN! I love bargain shopping, organizing things, cooking, and DIY! I'm here to share what I learn daily as a mom, homemaker, photographer novice ,and DIY newbie.

Being that I am a stay home mom, I try to cook two to three meals a day with exception of Saturdays and Sundays. Just so you know...I was a terrible cook before I got married and even during the first year of marriage. My food basically tasted like air. Yeah. AIR. Meaning it tasted like -nothing-. Thankfully I married a guy who went to school for culinary arts and cooked along side one of the top chefs in our state. So, when you add his expertise with my desire to be a good cook, you get food that actually tastes pretty darn good.

I love learning new things and I am learning and have learned a lot & I love sharing what I learn with others. Especially moms and wives out there who have a desire to be a great cook or meal planner. Sometimes we as women just need a little bit of encouragement and some inspiration to get things going. I have also grown into a bit of a DIY-er...(not a real word lol). Since having children and trying to find ways to save a buck or two, oh and since I met Joanna Gaines...not in person....I love taking on DIY projects that make living more simple yet are aesthetically pleasing. I also enjoy planning and organizing things to make things run smoother around the home. When you have children, organization is a must! I plan to share tips on how I keep things organized, bargain shop, meal plan, and cook restaurant style meals on a budget.

Let me put this disclaimer out there...I am not professing to be the best DIY person or cook or the queen of organization. I simply want to share what I do know with other savvy women who enjoy keeping things creatively simple.

Welcome!
So happy you're here!
